The application management
Following Lean-On's automated build of IaaS there is an automated build of virtual desktops for the users, with virtual desktop management and application delivery. Thereby the engineers can be offered a secure CaaS – CAD as a service. It contains CAD tools offered with a scale up, scale down model with data isolated, and secure operation excellence in terms of technical/engineering design, in design procedures and setup. Lean-On offers the support required when it comes to the user experience within the engineering app on the virtual desktop.
The application lifecycle
You can now offer flexibility in the number of virtual desktops needed for the engineers. You can instantly adjust the desktop count based on demand. Apps only need to be installed in one place and all relevant users can have access to the apps. A structured and automated request for change workflow, in relation to the updates and upgrades of all industry software, is in place. Updates and tools to engineering software can be implemented easily without the worries of hardware restrictions on an expensive engineering workstation. If more resources are needed for the next version of an application (ie. going from Autodesk Inventor 2022 to Autodesk Inventor 2024) resources can be added on the fly to the virtual desktops with no loss of user performance. The platform provides you a streamlined and secured lifecycle for engineering software, for engineers to access worldwide.
