“We needed a better technology solution for our content creation to help us keep pace with our growing project demands. Using the Lean-On services was the best choice for us because it allows our staff to have the robust performance they need to perform their responsibilities remotely from any laptop, and they can do it without expensive workstations.
We could see the benefits of the technology early on, as the solution was being crafted to meet our specific application and large file size needs. For instance, the rendering for a project that typically took us hours to complete was being completed 5 times faster and without errors versus rendering on our physical laptops. What took us 2.5 hours before now takes us 35 minutes in the virtual desktop and we can export our videos at the highest quality settings.
The flexibility in our operations that we get from this is important to us. The virtual desktop is sized for our requirements, and we now have two options that suit our needs:
- Adobe CC Video: For video rendering – Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects, as well as large Adobe Photoshop projects
- Adobe CC General: For less resource-intensive purposes – Adobe XD, InDesign, and light-scale Photoshop projects
We worked closely with Lean-On on our ever-changing requirements. It is great to know that we always have access to a virtual desktop with the correct specifications for our needs. It enables us to follow the latest versions of Adobes products and enhancements to those, resulting in increased productivity and efficiency in our content creation. On-boarding a new employee in our department has also become much easier. A low-specification laptop in combination with access to a new virtual desktop, and they can start their work right away.”
